P-CEP Student Shadow Programs
The P-CEP Counseling Department's Shadow Day program is for students in eighth grade and above that live within our district boundaries but do not currently attend P-CCS.
The day will see student visitors paired with a current student to get an idea of what a day at the park is like. Guests will attend classes, have the chance to meet with counselors and staff, and eat lunch in a P-CEP cafeteria. Canton, Plymouth, and Salem high schools will each host a Shadow Day, however the experience will be the same at each of the three schools.
- Due to the overwhelming success of this program, please sign up for only one shadow opportunity per student.
- Current P-CCS eighth grade students will have opportunities to learn about P-CEP through their school counselors. This program is only for students who do not currently attend P-CCS schools.
An example schedule from previous years:
- 9:20 a.m.—Students arrive on campus (location will be communicated upon confirmation).
- Student will be paired with a P-CEP student and attend three classes together.
- Students will eat a complimentary lunch in the cafeteria with their partner.
- Shadowing students will gather as a small group for a question and answer session with counselors and P-CEP staff.
- 1:25 p.m.—Students should be picked up.
